The ordination of three new priests

Three new priests will be ordained to the priesthood this Saturday, 20^th April 2024. Archbishop Charles Scicluna will ordain: Rev. Malcolm John Saliba from the Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption in Ħ’Attard, Rev. Karl Andrew Schembri from the Parish of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary in Mellieħa, and Rev. Rob Rizzo SJ from the Society of Jesus.

The Mass will be celebrated at St John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta at 9:30am and will be livestreamed on Church.mt and Newsbook Malta.

In preparation for the priestly ordination, the Archbishop’s Seminary and the Seminary Vocations Centre invite Christians to join them for a moment of prayer tomorrow, Thursday, 18^th April, at 7pm at the Basilica of St Paul in Rabat.

The Church invites young people to reflect upon and respond to the calling they might have to priestly or religious life. Further details may be obtained from seminaryvocationscentre.mt.
