A seminar focused on suicide prevention and mental health is being organised for the public. Hosted by DRACHMA, the seminar will be held on Monday, 4th December at 7pm, at Mount St Joseph, Targa Gap, Mosta.
The seminar is being organised following concerns raised by Drachma LGBT and Drachma Parents on the number of suicide cases reported in Malta recently. It is also being organised close to Christmas, due to the fact that this period could prove to be difficult for individuals going through mental health issues.
The event is free of charge, and it will host a variety of speakers, including Dr Mark Xuereb, Ms Colette Farrugia Bennett and Dr Gabriele Ellul. The panel will be moderated by George Cassar and will be open and willing to answer any questions from the public.
