The Link Youth Group from the parish of St George in Qormi will be organizing a national seminar entitled Familja: Diversita, Sforz u Sagrifficju?  This activity is being held in collaboration with the Youth Diocesan Commission and the Diocesan Commission for the Family. Unfortunately, many times, within the circles they frequent, youths are faced only with negative factors affecting the family and so this seminar has the aim of leading them to view positively the realities of family life.

The date of the seminar is Saturday 12th February, at the CAK Hall, B’Kara and its duration is from 9am – 1.30pm.  All youths and young adults aged between 18-35 are invited to attend.

The seminar will be divided into two sessions:  During the first part, Fr Brendan Mark Gatt will present a paper explaining how the Church views the family, while Dr Rita Borg Xuereb will speak on how healthy families lead to a strong society.

During the second part, the participants will be divided into work groups for discussion purposes, in order that every participant will have the opportunity to express his or her views on the subject.  Archbishop Paul Cremona OP, who will be present throughout the Seminar will deliver the concluding address.

All persons wishing to attend are to register online by Thursday 10th February 2011 on www.linkyouths.org

We urge you to encourage your friends and member of other youth groups to attend.
