Pope Francis confirms Archbishop Scicluna as President of the College for the examination of appeals

His Holiness Pope Francis confirmed for another term of three years the service which Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna gives to the Holy See as President of the College within the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith, to decide upon appeals in processes concerning serious offences (delicta reservata) established under the Motu Proprio Sacramentorum Sanctitatis Tutela. The Archbishop Scicluna was appointed president of this special college on the 21st January 2015.

On the 13th November of last year, Pope Francis also appointed Archbishop Scicluna as Adjunct Secretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.
