Palm Sunday April 1, 2012 – Dioceses around the world celebrate the faith of the young. Ever conscious of the role of youth in the christian community, the Church in Malta too will mark the day in a special manner.

Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. will preside over the official mass in Mosta at 6:00pm. Various young communities have come together through the Mosta Parish Commission for Youth to prepare a welcoming and youthful celebration.

Traditionally, Palm Sunday offers a wide opportunity for young people to explore and manifest their faith. In view of this, the Archbishop expressed his desire to address young people even beyond those gathered in the Mosta church. In a filmed message, Archbishop Cremona is expected to reflect on the notion of joy with regard to suffering. The message will be shown at youth masses around the diocese and also made available online.

The Youth Day celebrations are co-ordinated by the Church Commission for Young People (KDŻ) in collaboration with Mosta Parish Commission for Youth and Bosco Crew.
