This year’s edition of the Oħloq Tbissima marathon has raised a total of €441,590 in aid of the activities of the Missionary Society of St Paul.
The funds raised in the 22nd edition of the annual telethon will help support the MSSP’s missions in Peru, Pakistan and the Philippines as well as the running of St Joseph Home in Santa Venera.
Oħloq Tbissima was organised by ĊPI, the production house within the MSSP, between Friday and Sunday, and was broadcast at various times on TVM, Net, One and Fliving.
The MSSP is a missionary congregation of priests and brothers which was founded in Malta in 1910 by Mgr Gużeppi de Piro, and became a pontifical society in 1973 when it was granted a decretum laudis by Pope Paul VI, who was declared a saint by Pope Francis in 2018.
