Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. has appointed Fr Malcolm Agius as the new parish priest of Santa Lucija.
Fr Malcolm Agius was born in Msida on 18th December, 1981. He received his education at St Elizabeth Primary School in Sliema, Dun Guzepp Zammit Brighella Junior Lyceum in Hamrun and Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary in Naxxar. He continued his tertiary education in the Faculty of Theology at the University of Malta.
Fr Malcolm was ordained priest on 3rd July, 2008. He started his pastoral work as assistant archpriest in Cospicua parish where he has been serving for almost four years.
The number of parishioners in Santa Lucija is around 3,400 gathered in 1,040 families.
