Published by the Malta Bible Foundation, this Maltese adaptation of ‘The Beginner’s Bible’ presents stories carefully tailored for young readers. First released in 1989, The Beginner’s Bible has earned classic status, with over 25 million copies sold worldwide in various languages. The updated Maltese edition features modernised text and unique illustrations, providing a contemporary and engaging take on these timeless narratives.

Established in 2021, the Malta Bible Foundation has published this work as part of its official mandate by the Maltese Episcopal Conference to build upon the fruitful work that the Malta Bible Society had introduced locally in 1958, to promote the Bible to all.
To address the pastoral needs of today, the Malta Bible Foundation is also an active member of the Catholic Biblical Federation and the United Bible Societies, two esteemed international organisations that promote the distribution of the Bible worldwide. The Malta Bible Foundation is also responsible for the ongoing updating of the Maltese Bible translation from the original Greek and Hebrew texts.
