Maltese children to join a million others in praying for peace and unity

Once again the international Pontifical charity foundation, Aid to Church in Need (ACN), is inviting all Maltese children to join children from all over the world in this Rosary initiative, happening this Wednesday, 18th october, at 9:00 a.m.

Last year children from 69 countries participated including 9,000 boys and girls from Malta and Gozo.

This year 2017 we are celebrating 100 years since Our Lady Queen of the Rosary appeared to three children – Lucia, Francisco and Giacinta – at Fatima asking them to continue to pray through the Rosary for unity and peace in the world. Therefore we should teach our children and encourage them to say the Rosary for Peace, which the world needs so much.

ACN (Malta) is asking for the support of everyone – schools, parents, grandparents, teachers, youth leaders, social services – to  spread the word among local children.

Every child participating will receive a free rosary. Those who wish to participate in this initiative are asked to contact ACN (Malta) on 21487818 stating the number of rosaries they need to distribute to all those taking part.
