• Pentecost is the feast not only of the birth of Christianity but also of the shift from plurality to unity: many united in one body. It is therefore right and fitting that at Pentecost, we should continue to pray for unity amongst Christians. Therefore, as is customary during the Pentecost period, members of different Christian Churches will meet for an ecumenical prayer. This years’ theme is “The Spirit of the Lord is on me” (Luke 4:18).

The ecumenical service will be held tomorrow, Thursday, 24th May, at 6:30pm at the Holy Trinity Church, in Rudolph Street, Tas-Sliema. Reverend Ed Hanson will preside over the celebration. Rev. Dr Stefan Attard will give reflections on the occasion.

This ecumenical service is organised by the Christians Together in Malta (Malta Ecumenical Council) in collaboration with the Diocesan Ecumenical Commission.

    All are welcome to attend.
