The HopeGen project invites the community to Gonzi Hall at the Catholic Institute Floriana this Saturday, 27th April 2024, for an exploration of Malta’s transformation over the past 70 years.
Titled “A Society Transformed – Malta in the past seventy years,” this event will delve into Malta’s journey over the past seven decades, exploring its societal, political, and ecclesial transformation that have shaped our islands.
Rev. Anton Damato, Prof. Sue Vella, and Prof. Edward Warrington will guide attendees through a reflection on Malta’s history, celebrating its resilience and progress. From significant milestones to pivotal moments, the event will offer valuable insights into Malta’s evolution.

HopeGen is a one-year project by the Justice and Peace Commission and the Malta Catholic Youth Network (MCYN) to empower young people with the tools and capacity to actively contribute to building a more just and fair society.
