ARCHBISOP MEETS MIDWIVES

On Wednesday, 13th October, 2010, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. presided over a meeting for midwives organized by the Secretariat for Laity, at Mater Dei hospital.

Around 70 midwives attended for the meeting which involved an exchange of experiences. Some of the midwives spoke about the dumbfounding miracle of life, an experience which they get to live everyday. They also spoke about some of they experience on a daily basis… Read more »

NEW APPOINTMENTS AT THE VATICAN

Benedict XVI appointed Archbishop Mauro Piacenza, 66, secretary of the Congregation for Clergy, as prefect of the same dicastery. A Vatican communiqué reported today that the Pope also appointed Archbishop Robert Sarah, 65, secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, as president of the Pontifical Council Cor Unum.
