Sunday morning Pope Benedict XVI spoke of his intention of inaugurating a special Year of Faith. It will begin on the 11th October 2012, which marks the 50th Anniversary of the Second Vatican Council, and the 24th November 2013, Feast of Christ the King.

On Friday 14th October 2011, Archbishop Paul Cremona visited and blessed the new premises assigned to the Secretariat for Catholic Education which are located at the Mall, Floriana. The Secretariat’s offices were previously located at the Archbishop’s Curia and were transferred during the summer months. It took several years for the premises which house the new offices to be ready. The move was necessary to ensure better coordination between those who offer their services in the Church schools’ sector… Read more »
On Friday 14th October 2011, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. ordained eight deacons at St. Catherine’s Church, Zejtun, during a concelebrated Mass. The new deacons are Dillon Bugeja from Żurrieq, Robin Camilleri from Ħal Luqa, Roderick Camilleri from Ħaż-Żabbar, Mario Dimech from Siġġiewi, Anthony Paul Fitzpatrick from Gwardamangia, George Schembri from Ħal Qormi (S. THE CHURCH CONTINUES TO INVEST IN CHILDREN’S EDUCATION
At the beginning of the academic year, the Archbishop’s seminary at Tal-Virtu welcomed its first students in the new extension which now houses the primary school.
