In preparation for the Day for the Disabled, which will be celebrated on Friday, 3rd DEcember, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. celebrated Mass at the MFCC, Ta’ Qali, on Thursday, 2nd Decebmer, 2010.
Archbishop Cremona praised the lively spirits of the members and stated that being disabled should not hinder them from having a fulfilling live. An exhibition was set up with crafts and works from these members… Read more »

A solar-powered electric popemobile?
The Vatican says Pope Benedict XVI would gladly use one as another sign of his efforts to promote sustainable energy and safeguard God’s creation.

Benedict XVI is underlining the need to give a voice to the Church in the realm of social communications and the media.
The Pope stated this today upon receiving in audience the Filipino bishops who are in Rome for their five-yearly “ad limina” visit.

A day of prayer and adoration is being held at the Archbishop’s Seminary, tal-Virtu’, Rabat on Thursday, 2nd December 2010. The aim is to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. Mass will be celebrated at 9.30 a.m. followed by adoration during the rest of the day. The new book, “Light of the World,” which features an interview with Benedict XVI, is a chance to know a Pope who walks with us, says a Vatican spokesman. Jesuit Father Federico Lombardi, director of the Vatican press office, said this on the latest episode of “Octava Dies.”
