PRESENTATION OF PONTIFICAL YEARBOOK 2012

Cardinal Secretary of State Tarcisio Bertone S.D.B. and Archbishop Angelo Becciu, substitute for General Affairs, presented the Holy Father with the 2012 edition of the “Annuario Pontificio” or pontifical yearbook, and the “Annuarium Statisticum Ecclesiae”. Also present were the officials responsible for compiling and printing the volumes.

NEW PARISH PRIEST FOR SANTA LUCIJA

Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. has appointed Fr Malcolm Agius as the new parish priest of Santa Lucija.

Fr Malcolm Agius was born in Msida on 18th December, 1981. He received his education at St Elizabeth Primary School in Sliema, Dun Guzepp Zammit Brighella Junior Lyceum in Hamrun and Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary in Naxxar. Pope's visit to Mexico

Pope Benedict XVI will be visiting Mexico from March 23-26. It will be his first visit to the country, which John Paul II visited five times. It is the first leg of a two-country tour of Latin America. The Pope will visit Cuba for three days after leaving Mexico.
