St.Joseph
Feast of St. Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Patron of the Universal Church. It is also the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI’s “name day”. The head of Vatican Radio’s English for Africa service, Fr. Moses Hamungole, offered his reflections on the role of St. Joseph in the life of the Church.

Cardinal Joao Braz de Aviz, Prefect of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, will arrive in Malta on Saturday 24th March, on the invitation of the Council of Religious Major Superiors to meet with Maltese and Gozitan religious priests and nuns. This encounter will take place on Monday, 26th March at 5pm at the Augustinian Sisters, Fleur-de-Lys.

The texts for meditation during this year’s Way of the Cross, to be held at the Colosseum on Good Friday, have, by order of the Holy Father, been written by Danilo and Anna Maria Zanzucchi, a married couple and founders of the New Families Movement, which is part of the “Focolari” Movement.
The theme of the meditations will be the family, and the Way of the Cross will follow its traditional fourteen stations… Read more »
Pope Benedict XVI blessed and rang the official International Eucharistic Congress bell, which has been on tour across Ireland for nearly a year, in preparation for the world meeting in June.
