On Monday 8th February 2012, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. met the Diaconia Commission of St Julians and after that, the Liturgy Commission of the same parish as part of his pastoral visit to St. Julians.

On Sunday 12th February 2012, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. celebrated Mass for all couples getting married in 2012, at St John’s CoCathedral, Valletta. This celebration was organised by the Cana Movement.

Pope in Sunday's audience
Healing was the theme of Pope Benedict’s weekly Angelus address, delivered this morning in St. Peter’s Square. The Holy Father spoke about today’s Gospel, which relates how a leper had come to Christ, saying “If you wish, you can make me clean.” Jesus replied, saying, “I do will it, be made clean.”

A four day symposium at Rome’s Gregorian University entitled ‘Towards Healing and Renewal’ concludes on Thursday with the launch of an internet portal in English, Spanish, Italian and German, providing information and training for all those dealing with child protection in the Church.

In the Holy See Press Office, a press conference was held to present the Holy Father’s 2012 Lenten Message. Participating in the conference were Cardinal Robert Sarah, president of the Pontifical Council “Cor Unum”; Msgr. Giampietro Dal Toso and Msgr. Segundo Tejado Munoz, respectively secretary and under secretary of the same council.

On Thursday 9th February 2012, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. addressed His Eminence Cardinal Agostino Vallini, Vicar of Rome, and a group of bishops and priests, at Mosta Parish Church, prior to praying Lauds. Cardinal Vallini arrived in Malta on Tuesday 7th February leading four bishops and 150 priests from the diocese of Rome on a Pauline Pilgrimage.

On Wednesday 8th February 2012, Mgr Prospero Grech O.S.A., Cardinal Elect, was ordained Archbishop at St John’s Cocathedral in Valletta. Mgr Grech was consecrated by Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. and was given the title of Titular Archbishop of St Leone (Italy).
