Latin America
In a special liturgy Monday evening in St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, Pope Benedict XVI entrusted to Our Lady of Guadalupe the people of Latin America and reiterated the right of the unborn to live, while urging nations to effectively confront the social and public justice challenges that face them.

On Wednesday 7th December 2011, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. met the Liturgical and Pastoral Commission of Mdina. The Archbishop then met the Diaconia Commission and later, the Parish Pastoral Council and the Commission for the Implementation of the Synod of Mdina.

On December 6, 2011, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. visited Saint Elias College, a secondary school run by the Carmelite Friars. Archbishop Dominique Mamberti, the Holy See’s secretary for Relations with States, addressed the Eighteenth Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) held this 6–7 December in Vilnius, Lithuania.
