Bishop Charles J. Scicluna visits ‘Islelanders’ Photographic Project

  • On Sunday 4th January 2015, Bishop Charles J. Scicluna visited ‘Islelanders’, a photographic project by Darrin Zammit Lupi, at St. James Cavalier, Valletta. Islelanders is a photographic art project, based on Darrin Zammit Lupi’s experience as a photojournalist, documenting the lives of asylum seekers and migrants through and after their journey across the Mediterranean Sea.

Pope announces names of new Cardinals

  •  At the Angelus on Sunday, Pope Francis announced the names of fifteen Archbishops and Bishops whom he will raise to the dignity of the Cardinalate on February 14, 2015. In addition, the Holy Father announced that five retired Archbishops and Bishops “distinguished for their pastoral charity in the service of the Holy See and of the Church” would also be made Cardinals.
