Nhar l-Erbgħa 13 ta’ Mejju 2015, l-Arċisqof Charles J. Scicluna talab lid-direttur tad-Dar tal-Providenza, Fr Martin Micallef, biex jagħmel talba bil-miktub lilu, bħala Arċisqof ta’ Malta, biex jitlob li jibda l-proċess għall-beatifikazzjoni tal-fundatur tad-Dar, Mons. Mikiel Azzopardi. Dan tħabbar waqt messaġġ li l-Arċisqof għamel fl-inawgurazzjoni ta’ Misraħ San Giovanni XXIII, fid-Dar tal-Providenza, is-Siġġiewi.

Top diplomats to the Holy See were invited on Wednesday to share their views and express their hopes and expectations regarding the tragic situation of migrants who risk their lives to cross the Mediterranean as they flee desperation back home.

The boat-borne exodus that has seen more than 10,000 people plucked from the Mediterranean off Libya in the last month, and the deaths of at least 1,700 from drowning, has driven the European Union to draw up a plan to confront the challenge posed by the massive influx of migrants and refugees…

On Thursday 14 May 2015, Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna will institue three seminarians as Lectors, during Mass at the Parish Church of the Holy Family, Iklin, at 7.00 p.m.

- The Cana Movement has launched a pilot project whereby it is hoping to bring the Holy Family into people’s home in order to encourage families to pray together for their own and other families. The first parish to participate in this project is Stella Maris, Sliema.
  
  On Sunday 10th May, the project was launched during a special family mass, celebrated by Fr Karm Mercieca, Vice-Director of the Cana Movement, during which three generous couples, who have accepted to collaborate in this project, were presented to the congregation…
