Pope celebrates Mass for deceased bishops and cardinals

Pope Francis appeals for an end to violence in Central African Republic

  • Pope Francis visited the crypt beneath St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican on Monday evening, for a time of private prayer for the repose of the souls of his predecessors in the office of bishop of Rome, who have departed this life.

Pope: God can only love and not condemn
