Dun Albert Buhagiar twieled fid‑19 ta’ Awwissu 1964. Irċieva l‑edukazzjoni tiegħu fl‑iskola Primarja ta’ Raħal Ġdid, il‑Kulleġġ tal‑Karmelitani, Santa Venera, u l‑Kulleġġ De La Salle, il‑Birgu. Kompla l‑istudji terzjarji fil‑Filosofija u t‑Teoloġija, fl‑Università ta’ Malta.

Iċ‑ċerimonja annwali tal‑gradwazzjoni saret nhar it‑Tlieta 8 ta’ Novembru 2016, fil‑Knisja ta’ San Duminku, ir‑Rabat, u tmexxiet mill‑Vigarju Ġenerali Mons. Joe Galea Curmi. Pope Francis revealed on Thursday that the search for Christian unity is one of his principle concerns, one that he prays may be shared by every baptized person. The Pope’s words came as he met in the Vatican with participants at a plenary session of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity. The group is in Rome for their 2nd European Assembly, which took place on Sunday. The theme of this year’s assembly was “Ending Trafficking Begins with Us.”
In his address to members of the group, Pope Francis once again denounced “the trade in human beings” as “a modern form of slavery, which violates the God-given dignity of so many of our brothers and sisters, and constitutes a true crime against humanity.” He acknowledged that much has been accomplished in educating the public about human trafficking, but said “much more needs to be done on the level of raising public consciousness” and in coordinating the various efforts of those engaged in fighting against trafficking in human persons…
