Scicluna llum iltaqa’ ma’ Ella u l-ġenituri tagħha u qal li ser jiċċelebraw flimkien l-Ewkaristija f’mument opportun għat-tifla u bl-iżjed mod konvenjenti għaliha, sabiex ikollha l-opportunità tirċievi l-Ġisem u d-Demm tal-Mulej Ġesù. Mons. Arċisqof iddeskriva l-laqgħa mal-familja bħala “mument sabiħa ħafna”.

Following intense negotiations, the Church Authorities and the Malta Union of Teachers (MUT) have agreed on a Collective Agreement for Church Schools which will be effective from 2018 until 2022. The signing of this agreement was presided over by Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna, today, at the Archbishop’s Curia in Floriana.

The Collective Agreement will affect all educators working at the Secretariat for Catholic Education and in Church schools in Malta and Gozo…

Chile’s bishops acknowledged they had “failed to fulfil our duty by not listening, believing, attending or accompanying the victims of grave sins” after a five-day meeting to discuss the clergy sexual abuse crisis rocking the country.
