The BOV Volleyball Marathon in aid of id‑Dar tal‑Providenza is back with 53 hours of non‑stop play in the Home’s Siġġiewi car park. The 15th edition of the marathon will get under way by H.E. The introduction of physician-assisted suicide and euthanasia in Malta would further undermine the provision of palliative care services which are currently inadequate, and would contradict the ongoing national efforts to prevent suicide. Instead, greater investment must be directed towards strengthening palliative care and avoiding overtreatment.
