Pope Francis to meet Aid to the Church in Need’s delegates

  • A delegation of the International Pontifical Foundation, Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) will be meeting with the Holy Father Pope Francis on Thursday,  15th August 2019, in a gesture to pray for peace in solidarity with the Syrian people, console families who mourn the loss of their dearest ones and commemorate the victims of war.

Pope writes to people of Genoa one year after collapse of Morandi Bridge

UMTAL returns from the annual pilgrimage to Lourdes

  • The Archdiocesan pilgrimage organised by the UMTAL Society has recently returned from their annual visit to the Holy Shrine at Lourdes. 170 pilgrims and volunteers were led on this religious journey by the Chaplain of the Society and Archbishop’s delegate, Fr Joseph Mizzi, parish priest of Santa Lucia. 

    A team of doctors, nurses, carers and lay persons volunteered to look after over 40 patients to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for the sick during the pilgrimage to Lourdes…
