ŻAK members in a virtual meeting with 80 youths to discuss environmental protection

International dialogue conducted online by Catholic EarthCare Australia during the week of Laudato si'

L-Erbgħa 20 ta’ Mejju, numru ta’ membri taż-ŻAK kellhom l-opportunità li jipparteċipaw fi djalogu internazzjonali li sar online grazzi għal Catholic EarthCare Australia li organizzaw din il-laqgħa virtwali bejn 80 żagħżugħ u żagħżugħa ta’ bejn is-16 u l-25 sena. Iż-żgħażagħ kienu ġejjin mill-Awstralja, New Zealand, Tonga, is-Samoa u Malta. The Interdiocesan Environment Commission (KA) feels that now that our country is eagerly looking forward to a time of normality as the COVID-19 pandemic gradually subsides, it would be foolish to go back to our old ways as if nothing happened – as if we have learnt nothing from this experience. The KA believes we need to reinforce the self-discipline we have shown throughout the pandemic, so that all of us would be able to weather any similar experience in the future.
