L-omelija tal-Arċisqof Charles Jude Scicluna

Illum nisimgħu silta oħra mill-Evanġelju ta’ San Ġwann u tixbiha oħra li jagħmel Ġesù tiegħu nnifsu. Il-Ħadd li għadda smajnieh jgħid “Jien ir-ragħaj it-tajjeb” (Ġw 10:14). Illum jieħu t-tixbiha mill-ambjent tal-ħajja tal-bidwi anzi jsejjaħ lill-Missier ‘il-bidwi’. Sejjaħ lilu nnifsu wkoll ‘id-dielja’. U lilna isejħilna ‘l-friegħi ta’ din id-dielja’.

L-insistenza ta’ Ġesù illum hi li aħna nibqgħu miegħu u fih… Read more »

L-omelija tal-Arċisqof Charles Jude Scicluna

Min jaf kemm-il darba lil Ġesù ngħidulu dak li qalulu l-Lhud: “Kemm se ddum taqlgħalna ruħna?” (Ġw10:24), għax jitlobna xi ħaġa u nħossuha tassew diffiċli. Aħna nafu li Ġesù hu l-Iben t’Alla. Ma naħsibx li għandna problema bl-identità tiegħu. Imma l-isfida li jagħmlilna hi li nkunu parti mill-merħla tiegħu.
