The Greek term tekton, used to specify Joseph’s work, has been translated in various ways… Read more »

Always talk to the Lord; in moments of joy and sorrow – The Archbishop

The Chapel of Our Lady of Manresa at the Archbishop's Curia, Floriana

L-omelija tal-Arċisqof Charles Jude Scicluna

Min ilbieraħ seta’ jsegwi din il-quddiesa, semagħni nitkellem fuq il-qawwa ta’ Ġesù li tgħaddi wkoll lill-Knisja permezz tal-isqof tal-post fuq ix-Xitan. Din is-silta mill-ewwel kapitlu ta’ San Mark, teħodna proprju fl-ewwel mumenti tal-ħajja pubblika ta’ Ġesù: minn Nazaret immur Kafarnahum fejn jgħaddi ġurnata u nofs li jirrakontaha San Mark. Kemm-il darba rrealizzajt, u naħseb anke intom innutajtu, li meta San Mark jitkellem fuq il-missjoni ta’ Ġesù, jitkellem fuq il-fatt li hu kien jeżerċità din il-qawwa fuq ix-Xitan… Read more »
