The first group of Missio Malta volunteers in three years has left Malta to carry out missionary work. Volunteer groups in foreign countries had been stopped due to the pandemic interruptions.

“Intom il-melħ tal-art…Intom id-dawl tad-dinja” (Mt 5:13.14). Dawn iż-żewġ affarijiet li jsemmi Ġesù nindunaw mal-ewwel li huma affarijiet li aħna lkoll nafu bihom. Ġesù juża kliem li nifhmuh u mhux ikkumplikat biex ifiehem il-missjoni tagħna, dixxipli tiegħu, fid-dinja llum. Fondazzjoni Sebħ is launching the project ‘See My Voice’ which was awarded the President’s Award for Creativity last December, with a total of €9,698 being allocated to this initiative. The Foundation is currently in the initial phase of this project which will create a space for children residing within residential homes, for women and children escaping violence, and members of the communities of Ħamrun and Marsa where the Foundation offers a social assistance service, to let their voices be heard through the medium of expressive arts.

Applications for ‘Other Applicants’ for admission to Church schools in Malta and Gozo for the scholastic year commencing in September 2023, will be accepted online as from tomorrow, Wednesday 1st February 2023. There are a total of 933 vacant places for students (858 in Malta and 75 in Gozo). Detailed information about the places offered, the criteria and the documentation required are available in the regulations published last November.
