The pontifical vestments of Pope St Pius V are being brought to Malta to commemorate the 450th anniversary of his demise and are being exhibited at St John’s Co-Cathedral till the 13th of November 2022.

Pope Pius V was a Dominican friar who was elected to the papacy in 1566 until his death in 1572. He is remembered as the great benefactor of Malta’s Capital City, Valletta, and as a promoter of the devotion towards Our Lady of the Holy Rosary… Read more »

Dominican priest Marius Zerafa passed away aged 93. His funeral will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, 25th October, at 9:30am. From 8:15am, Fr Zerafa will lie in state at the Convent of Jesus of Nazareth, Tas-Sliema. The funeral cortège will leave the Convent at 9.15am for Mass  praesente cadavere at the Parish Church of Jesus of Nazareth, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.  … Read more »

Spreading the Missionary Message

International Missions Day will be celebrated on Sunday 23rd October 2022, and will shine a light on the work carried out by Missions, with communities in developing countries.

Missio Malta, which forms part of an international organisation of the same name, has dedicated the whole month of October to raise awareness about the cause.
