Naomi Galea, a 19 year old leader and member of ŻAK Mosta explained her experience of participating in a week of joy, fun, togetherness, and spirituality at this year’s World Youth Day in Portugal. During this week she met with people from all over the world who went to Lisbon with the same purpose: to share the joy of their faith together. This experience really surprised her, as she described it as a unique journey which only a few get to enjoy – to freely express one’s faith openly without any judgements.

Il-parroċċi ta’ Ħad-Dingli u l-Imġarr qed jistiednu lis-sewwieqa tal-muturi biex nhar it-Tlieta 15 ta’ Awwissu 2023 jieħdu sehem f’pellegrinaġġ bil-mutur tagħhom mill-Imġarr għal Ħad-Dingli.

Din hija s-sitt darba li qed isir dan il-pellegrinaġġ minn żewġ parroċċi ddedikati lil Marija Assunta fil-jum tal-festa solenni tagħha li huwa wkoll btala pubblika.

Archbishop appoints Episcopal Vicar for Liturgy

Archbishop Charles Scicluna has appointed Mgr Jesmond Manicaro as the Episcopal Vicar for Liturgy.

Mgr Jesmond Manicaro was born in Paola on 27th August 1964. He studied at the University of Malta, obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and a Licentiate in Pastoral Theology. The Archdiocese of Malta more than doubled its donations to individuals and increased subsidies to entities by 20% in 2022, despite recording a deficit of €8.8 million mainly due to losses on its investments attributable to a negative global economic landscape.
