The Maltese Catholic Action is now 93 years old

Azzjoni Kattolika (VO Number 1743) started in Malta by a small group of University Students on the 5th of April 1929, thanks to the guidance of Fr Danjel Callus. In February 1930 the official statute of the organisation was approved by the Archbishop of that time. From then on, more youth groups started popping up in different parishes. The Archdiocese of Malta is rewarded the NCPE Equality Mark once again

The National Commission for the Promotion of Equality (NCPE) has re-certified the Archbishop’s Curia – Archdiocese of Malta with the Equality Mark Certification. The latter was first awarded the equality mark certification in 2020 by the NCPE.

The Coalition ‘Int Tista’ Ssalvani’ and the Group of 80 Experts and supported actively by over 25,000 petitioners, are being ignored.

According to media reports of comments made by the Minister for Health on Friday 17th February, Government will be holding meetings on the abortion bill with a “wide array” of stakeholders till next week or the following.

The PM has also been quoted as saying that Government will meet with everyone to understand the main concerns and fears presented by the amendment and to understand any concerns about how it can be abused… Read more »
