L-omelija tal-Isqof Joseph Galea-Curmi

“Qamet kwistjoni bejn id-dixxipli dwar min kien l-akbar fosthom” (Lq 9:46). Dan hu li jgħid San Luqa fl-Evanġelju tiegħu llum, u mal-ewwel nintebhu kemm dawn id-dixxipli ma kinux fehmu tassew, sa dak il-mument, min kien Ġesù, u x’kien qed jgħallimhom Ġesù. Ftit qabel din is-silta, Ġesù kien qed iħabbrilhom, għat-tieni darba, li se jgħaddi mill-mewt li twassal għall-qawmien, li se jgħaddi mis-sofferenza… Read more »

Imma l-Vanġelu li għadna kemm smajna jgħidilna li mhux dejjem fuq il-mejda l-ħobż hu maqsum: dan hu minnu; mhux dejjem iħalli l-fwieħa tal-komunjoni; mhux dejjem hu miksur fil-ġustizzja… Read more »

L-omelija tal-Arċisqof Charles Jude Scicluna

Ġesù jpoġġilna għażla diffiċli llum quddiemna: il-flus jew hu. Diffiċli ħafna anke għax aħna nifhmu li l-flus għandna bżonnhom. Imma li taħli ħajtek – ħa nuża din il-frażi ‘taħli ħajtek’ – li tiġri wara l-flus, mingħajr ma tgawdiha, hi bluha kbira. Għax donnu taħseb li l-ħajja mhu se tispiċċa qatt, ma jasal qatt il-mument meta trid tagħti kont tal-amministrazzjoni tiegħek… Read more »
