“After we had reached safety we learned that the island was called Malta. The natives showed us unusual kindness” (Acts 28:1-2). In this week of prayer for Christian unity in this year of our Lord 2020, we Christians have been invited to meditate, pray and reflect on verse 2, chapter 28 of the Acts of the Apostles. Archbishop meets asylum seekers residing at the Peace Lab

Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna met residents who reside at the Peace Lab in Ħal Far, during a pastoral visit held on Tuesday 21st January 2020. Archbishop Scicluna was welcomed by Fr Dijonisju Mintoff who administers this centre.

Currently, 52 male asylum seekers reside at the Peace Lab. Most of them are from Mali, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Ivory Coast, Sudan, Cameroon, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Iran… Read more »
