The Archdiocese of Malta has signed an agreement with APS Bank plc whereby its employees can enjoy special terms and other benefits with respect to a suite of APS Bank products and services.
The agreement was signed at the Archbishop’s Curia in Floriana on Monday 20th March 2023 by Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Galea-Curmi, Archdiocese Administrative Secretary Michael Pace Ross, Chief Banking Officer Anthony Buttigieg and Head of Retail Aaron Mifsud. Also present was Dr Rebecca Gatt, HR director, who conducted the negotiations on behalf of the Archdiocese.
Michael Pace Ross commented, “Following this employment scheme agreement, all staff members of the Archbishop’s Curia and the Ecclesiastical Tribunals, together with those from six other church entities, will now benefit from more advantageous terms and conditions on home financing, personal loans, overdrafts, investments and other services, following the appropriate due diligence requirements by the Bank.”
On behalf of APS Bank, Aaron Mifsud commented, “We are pleased to be extending this exclusive Employee Scheme to the Archdiocese of Malta. We look forward to assisting their employees and making their banking experience simpler and more personalised.”
