Archbishop appoints Episcopal Delegate for Evangelization

Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna has appointed Nadia Delicata as Episcopal Delegate for Evangelization. 

Dr Delicata is Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Malta and has been teaching in the Department of Moral and Spiritual Theology since 2012. Between 2001 and 2011 she undertook her theological studies at Regis College, the Jesuit theologate of the Toronto School of Theology at the University of Toronto. She is married to Brian Delicata and has three children. 

Pope Francis describes evangelization as the joy abundant that any man, woman or child experiences and shares after encountering Christ who heals all loneliness and despair. 

In her task of evangelization, the local Church seeks to be a presence of hope and spiritual and physical wellbeing through her life of prayer; through formation in schools and in youth and adult communities; through the arts; and in the ongoing dialogue on social issues in Maltese society at large.
