On Wednesday, 4 November 2026, Fr Brian Kolodiejchuk, MC, who served as Postulator of Mother Teresa’s Causes of Beatification and Canonization, will deliver a public lecture entitled Love in the Dark: The Hidden Passion of St Teresa of Calcutta.

The talk will explore a lesser-known dimension of Mother Teresa’s spiritual life: the profound interior darkness and sense of God’s absence that she experienced for much of her life, even as she continued to dedicate herself wholeheartedly to the service of the poorest of the poor.

The event is open to the general public and will take place at 7.00 pm at the MUSEUM Auditorium in Blata l-Bajda. It will be of particular interest to those who seek to deepen their prayer and spiritual life, as well as anyone interested in spirituality, religious experience, Mother Teresa herself and her legacy of love and service to the poor.
