Funeral Mass praesente cadavere for Archbishop Emeritus Paul Cremona O.P. that will take place at St. John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta, on March 22, 2025, at 9:30am, and will be presided over by Archbishop Charles Scicluna.
At the conclusion of the mass, the funeral procession will make its way on foot from St. John’s Co-Cathedral along Republic Street to City Gate. Following this, the funeral will proceed privately to the Church of Our Lady of the Grotto and St. Dominic in Rabat, where the burial will take place.
During these days, the Church in Malta is praying for the soul of Mons. Paul Cremona O.P. and giving thanks to God for his faithful leadership as shepherd of the Church from 2007 to 2014. His fervor, guided by his episcopal motto, “Prepare the Way for the Lord,” continues to inspire and echo in our hearts.
