The Chapel of Our Lady of Manresa at the Archbishop's Curia, Floriana

L-omelija tal-Isqof Joseph Galea-Curmi

“Ikkmandahom u qalilhom ħafna biex ma jgħidu lil ħadd b’dan” (Lq 9:21). Dan hu l-kliem li naqraw fl-Evanġelju skont San Luqa fuq Ġesù li lid-dixxipli tiegħu qalilhom b’insistenza biex ma jgħidu lil ħadd. Għalxiex kien qed jgħid hawnhekk? Għal meta Pietru qallu: “Inti l-Messija ta’ Alla” (Lq 9:20). Hemmhekk Ġesù insista – hawn jgħidlek “ikkmandahom u qalilhom ħafna” – biex ma jgħidu lil ħadd b’dan… Read more »

At the roots of our pastoral commitment – Bishop Galea‑Curmi

L-omelija tal-Isqof Joseph Galea-Curmi

Minnu ġejja l-qawwa

This second and final session of the Synod builds on last year’s first session, focusing on three key questions: how the Church can serve more fully as a sign and instrument of union with God and of the unity of all humanity; how it can share its gifts in service to the Gospel more effectively; and what processes, structures and institutions are needed in a truly missionary and synodal Church… Read more »
