Qed jgħidlu l-esperjenza tiegħu kif, għall-kelma tiegħu, in-nies li kellu miegħu kienu jobdu. Kien hemm dixxiplina. Iġib l-għira, kultant, dan iċ-ċenturjun kif kienu jimxu l-affarijiet man-nies li kien jieħu ħsieb! Imma kellu qaddej li kien marid ħafna, u lil dan ma setax jgħidlu “kun imfejjaq” u jfiq… Read more »

The hope that strengthens our hearts – Bishop Galea‑Curmi

  Annunciation Church, Balzan

L-omelija tal-Isqof Joseph Galea-Curmi

“Qawwu qalbkom u erfgħu raskom” (Lq 21:28). Dan il-kliem li jgħid Ġesù llum fl-Evanġelju jgħidu fost kliem ieħor li, mal-ewwel daqqa ta’ għajn, mhuwiex kliem li jqawwilna qalbna u jgħinna nerfgħu rasna.

F’din is-silta, Ġesù qed jitkellem fuq it-tieni miġja tiegħu. Għall-bidu, qisu hu kliem li intenzjonat biex ibeżżagħna u jdaħħalna f’qoxortna. Imma, fil-fatt, il-kliem ta’ Ġesù mhuwiex biex ibeżża’, imma biex jurina r-realtà kif inhi… Read more »
