The Chapel of Our Lady of Manresa at the Archbishop's Curia, Floriana

L-omelija tal-Isqof Joseph Galea-Curmi

“Mur uri ruħek lill-qassis” (Mt 8:4). Ġesù jgħid dan il-kliem lil wieħed li kellu l-marda tal-lebbra u li nxteħet quddiemu biex ifejqu. Ġesù jmidd idu, ifejqu, dan jindaf mil-lebbra, u Ġesù jgħidlu: “mur, uri ruħek lill-qassis u agħmel l-offerta li ordnalkom Mose…” Imma jżid ħaġa oħra: “qis li ma tgħid lil ħadd” (Mt 8:4).

  Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi

L-omelija tal-Arċisqof Charles Jude Scicluna

Għadna kemm smajna serje ta’ kliem ta’ Ġesù, li mhux bilfors maqgħudin flimkien fi storja waħda. Imma bħalma jiġri f’ċerti paġni mill-Evanġelju ta’ San Mattew, jagħtina kliem li qal Ġesù li ftakrithom il-komunità u li ħassew kien hemm bżonn mhux biss jibqgħu jiftakruhom imma jibqgħu wkoll jgħadduhom minn ġenerazzjoni għall-oħra.

Huma kliem li ħafna drabi nsibuha diffiċli nifhmuhom… Read more »
