Conviction not convenience – Bishop Galea-Curmi

The protection of human life from the moment of conception and at every stage of its existence is a question of conviction, not convenience.

It should be a principle we embrace always, not because it is convenient at a particular time. Thus, when we are asked if we accept that life can be eliminated when it has just been conceived, our reply cannot be “no, because the people are not yet ready for this step” or “it is not the right moment, especially when we are close to an election”… Read more »

The Chapel of Our Lady of Manresa at the Archbishop's Curia, Floriana

“Dak li għaqqad Alla ma għandux jifirdu l-bniedem.” Dan hu li qal Ġesù lill-Fariżej meta staqsewh jistax raġel jitlaq lil martu. Hawnhekk it-tweġiba ta’ Ġesù hi tweġiba mdawla mill-Kelma ta’ Alla, u jmur lura proprju fl-ewwel ktieb, il-Ġenesi, fejn għandna b’mod ċar dak li Alla ried mill-ħajja ta’ bejn il-mara u r-raġel – il-ħajja taż-żwieġ… Read more »
