Il-festa għażiża tal-Immakulata Kunċizzjoni hi festa tas-sbuħija, festa tal-ġmiel. Alla ried li lil Marija jsalvaha, jeħlisha mid-dnub, sa mill-bidu nett ta’ ħajjitha. Għalhekk, meta nħarsu lejha hi għalina dan is-simbolu ta’ ġmiel, ta’ sbuħija.

L-Isqof Teuma jirrifletti dwar xi tfisser tkun missier tajjeb fid-dinja tal-lum u l-isfidi tal-paternità, jaqsam ħsibijietu dwar kif nistgħu nifhmu li Ġesù kellu Missier fis-sema u missier fuq l-art.

53 organisations and academics petition Parliament to amend cannabis law

Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca among signatories in last-ditch attempt to protect children and young people

Former President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca is among the signatories of a petition calling on Parliament to amend the cannabis reform bill before it is given its seal of approval.

This comes after the cannabis reform Bill cleared the committee stage on Tuesday, with no major amendments approved during four-hour session.
