In those days, Jesus told his disciples this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees; as soon as they sprout leaves you can see for yourselves and know that summer is already near. So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near. Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all things have taken place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.  Read more »

Anke f’dan l-Evanġelu mill-kap 21 ta’ San Luqa, Ġesù jżewweġ dawn iż-żewġ esperjenzi: waħda li ġrat. Wara żmienu; xi 40 sena wara l-mewt tiegħu, fis-sena 70, il-qerda ta’ Ġerusalemm mill-eżerċitu Ruman; u l-oħra li għadna ma esperjenzajniex, għadu ma għaddinhiex minnha, li hu tmiem tad-dinja li nafu aħna. Għal bniedem Lhudi, kif għedna, il-qerda ta’ Ġerusalemm, hi proprju qrib ħafna, il-qerda ta’ kollox… Read more »

Statement on religious activities approved by the Curia

Il‑Kurja tal‑Arċisqof tixtieq tiċċara li l‑protokolli għall‑attivitajiet reliġjużi jikkonċernaw dak li jsir fil‑knejjes u f’postijiet li jintużaw għall‑qima reliġjuża. Rigward ċelebrazzjonijiet esterni bħalma huma l‑purċissjonijiet tal‑festi, il‑Kurja tippermetti li dawn isiru meta, kif u jekk jiġu approvati mill‑Awtoritajiet tas‑Saħħa. Din il‑pożizzjoni kienet tħabbret diġà mill‑Kurja f’Mejju li għadda.

Kif sar s’issa, il‑Knisja se tibqa’ fi djalogu mal‑Awtoritajiet tas‑Saħħa u stakeholders oħra bħalma hi l‑Għaqda Nazzjonali Każini tal‑Banda… Read more »
