CARDINALS PREPARE FOR TOMORROW’S CONSISTORY

Day of prayer and reflection before the Concistory

Friday morning, in preparation for Saturday’s consistory, the members of the College of Cardinals and the new cardinals-elect, including Mons Prospero Grech, met in the Vatican’s New Synod Hall for a day of reflection and prayer, presided by the Holy Father. Benedict XVI had called the day at the beginning of this month.

EUROPEAN, AFRICAN BISHOPS STUDY EVANGELIZATION

Symposium

The second symposium of European and African Bishops was held at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum, in anticipation of the forthcoming synod on the new evangelization, scheduled for October.

PROGETTIMPENN FORUM ABOUT FAMILY-WORK BALANCE

On Thursday 16th February 2012, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. participated in a Forum about family-work balance, organised by ProgettImpenn at the Hotel Phoenicia.

KDZ General Assembly

On Saturday 11th February 2012, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. presided over the General Assembly of the Diocesan Commission for Youth, held at Mount St Joseph, Targa Gap. Over 120 youth ministers participated in the discussion, focusing on the role and contribution of young people within the  church.

MASS FOR COUPLES GETTING MARRIED IN 2012

On Sunday 12th February 2012, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. celebrated Mass for all couples getting married in 2012, at St John’s CoCathedral, Valletta. This celebration was organised by the Cana Movement.
