As part of the Cana Movement project ‘Zwieg b’Sahhtu’, a talk will be organised on 23rd May 2012 on ‘Spiritual Intimacy’. The talk will be delivered by Leslie and Charmaine Caruana, leaders of the couples’ support group ‘Belong’. The general public is invited to attend this session which will be held at Sala San Pawl, Catholic Institute, Floriana, at 7.00pm.
During the talk, Leslie and Charmaine Caruana will explore aspects of spousal spiritual intimacy including: basics on prayer; the vocation to agape love; the spousal gift of self that reflects Christ’s love; entering into a covenant with God; the couple’s life journey towards holiness and becoming a source of grace through the Sacrament of Marriage.
Over the past ten years, Leslie and Charmaine have delivered several presentations during marriage preparation courses and various Parish family groups. Mr Caruana is reading for a Masters Degree in Family Ministry and Ms Caruana served as Cana Vice President until 2007.
