Youth Theme Launch 2013/14

Archbishop Paul Cremona is launching the Year Theme for young people during Holy Eucharist at St Joseph the Worker Parish, Birkirkara – 6:30pm. Chosen by Pope Francis, the theme for youth this year is “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Mt 5,3)
The yearly Theme for Youth is a tradition initiated in 1984 by  Pope John Paul II, where the Pointiff proposes a scriptural verse to guide young people around the world in their journeys of faith.
The official launch in Malta is being organized by the Liturgy Team within the St Joseph the Worker Parish. The event is co-ordinated by the Commission for young people within the Church (KDŻ).
