• A public lecture by Professor Judith Povilus was held on Thursday 6th December 2018 at the Archbishop’s Curia in Floriana on the theme: Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary: Mary, a Stumbling Block or a Door to Unity?  

    Professor Judith Povilus, from the U.S., is an internationally acclaimed mathematician and one of the founders of Sophia University, Loppiano, Italy. She is a member of the Focolare Movement and she has also delivered talks on the role of the Virgin Mary in the context of ecumenical dialogue.

    The event was organised by the Diocesan Ecumenical Commission.
