Every year, Id-Dar tal-Provienza organises a concert tied to the International Day for Persons with Disability that is celebrated annually on December 3rd.  It is taking place on Friday, 29th December 2024 at 7.30pm at the St. Catherine’s V.M. parish church in Żejtun.

The concert, under the distinguished patronage of H.G. The Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna, will have the participation of the Band of the Armed Forces of Malta under the baton of its Maestro and Musical Director, Major Jonathan Borg. The programme includes works by Puccini, Hansen, Schubert, Vivaldi, Morricone, De Haan, Lloyd Weber, Innocenzi and Swearingen as well as works by Maltese composers Tano Monseigneur, Ssgt Gilbert Camilleri and Ray Magri.

During the evening the winner of this year’s Mons. Mikiel Azzopardi Award will be announced. The Award is given as a token of appreciation for contributions made to Id-Dar tal-Providenza by persons or organisations that get involved in the disability sector.
