During the month of September the Franciscan Province of St. Paul the Apostle has shared three important joyful events.
On the 6th September at St. Francis Church, Hamrun, Brother Aaron Abdilla O.F.M. professed to live for a year the vows of obedience, poverty and chastity, in the Franciscan Order, after terminating his novitiate in Assisi. During the same celebration Clive Camilleri, Ramon Farrugia u Andrea Diacono received the Franciscan habit. The following day, they travelled to the sanctuary of S. Damiano in Assisi where they will start their novitiate.
On the 21st September at the Church of St. Mary of the Angels, Bahar ic-Caghaq, Brother Joseph Ciappara O.F.M. and Brother Walter Vassallo O.F.M. made their solemn profession in the Franciscan Order. Both are currently are pursuing their studies at the University of Malta.
On the 29th September at St. Mary of Jesus Church, Valletta, during a concelebrated mass, Mr. Gerald Xuereb will commence his postulancy in the Franciscan Province.
Fr. Provincial Sandro Overend O.F.M. was the main concelebrant for all these occasions.
